Colonial Whole-Home Revival
A 1960s colonial taken down to studs and rebuilt with modern systems, open floor plan, and preserved period details throughout.
Project Story
This 1960s colonial had good bones but outdated everything. The homeowners wanted a modern, open layout without losing the home's traditional charm. We gutted the entire first and second floors.
Our in-house structural engineer designed beam solutions to remove three load-bearing walls, creating the open-concept living the family needed. All mechanical systems were replaced with high-efficiency units.
Custom crown molding, wainscoting, and built-in bookshelves were designed to complement the home's original colonial architecture while giving it a fresh, contemporary feel.
“Seven months of renovation, and it was worth every single day. This is a new home with old soul.”
